Biography

Discover the journey, inspiration, and artistic vision of Fernando Martín Vega, known as Boreas Azur.

Born in Seville, Andalusia, Boreas Azur has been deeply drawn to the mystical and the unseen since the very beginning of his life. From an early age, he developed a profound fascination with dreams, spirituality, and the hidden magic that exists beyond ordinary perception.

As a child, he cultivated a rich inner world. Dreams were never merely fleeting images of the night—they were vivid experiences that seemed to shape his reality. Within them he discovered messages, emotional journeys, adventures, love, and wisdom. This profound connection to the dream world became a defining part of the way he understands both himself and the many dimensions of human existence.

His childhood was filled with signs of this sensitivity. He fondly remembers creating imaginary worlds, inventing spells, and drawing symbolic figures into the earth—acts that held deep meaning for him, even when they were often misunderstood by those around him. Yet he never abandoned the silent language that guided his imagination.

As the years passed, an inner conflict emerged. Like many others, he attempted to follow the conventional path that society presents: a life built upon logic, structure, and certainty. In doing so, however, he found himself drifting away from an essential part of his identity. For a time, he lived what he describes as an “automatic life,” disconnected from his true nature.

This period ultimately became a turning point. He came to understand that when we ignore our inner essence, we lose something fundamental. Rather than simply adapting to the world as it had been defined for him, he realized that his purpose was to open new paths—expanding reality through imagination, creation, and artistic expression.

From this transformation emerged the figure of the observer. Boreas Azur began to see himself as someone standing between two worlds: the tangible and the spiritual, contemplating both with quiet awareness. From that perspective, he embarked on a journey of personal reconstruction, rediscovering who he truly was and embracing the creative force that had always lived within him.

For Boreas Azur, art, imagination, and emotion are far more than forms of expression—they are gateways to deeper dimensions of understanding. He believes that what truly shapes our lives is often not what is immediately visible, but what remains hidden, silently felt, and intuitively understood. His work seeks to give form to those invisible realities and share them with others.

Today, his artistic journey is devoted to opening those symbolic portals that connect different worlds. Within that meeting place, he continually rediscovers his identity, nurtures his creativity, and embraces an ever-evolving understanding of life.
